Christopher Williams, Founder & CEO

Christopher Williams is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heart, Body & Soul, Inc. (HBS), a Brooklyn-based nonprofit, and the creator of "The Black Man’s Health Festival®", launched in June 2022 to focus on Black men’s health awareness. His journey into advocacy was sparked by personal health struggles, including two heart attacks and stage III appendiceal cancer, which redefined his life’s purpose. Motivated by disparities in healthcare, Christopher aims to address the lack of access to quality wellness programs, quality food and health education and advocacy for Black men. He advocates for open conversations about health, believing that these discussions are crucial for improving outcomes in the Black community. Christopher is also the Associate Publisher and co-founder of WhereItzAt Magazine, a family-owned NYC media company with over 20 years of service. With more than 25 years of experience in events, media, financial services and project management, he started his career as a radio engineer before transitioning into corporate roles in the private and public sector in New York. Today, Christopher continues to consult in media and event production, while focusing on advocating for better mental and physical health practices among Black men.
